    1. I can't wait to try flats and prefolds on a newborn! I was terrified of them when I started using cloth, but now I LOVE them! :-)

  4. Baby Girl isn't here yet but we haven't decided what we're doing. Family history says we will have a big baby (probably between 8 and 10 lbs) so we may go straight to OS...just use sposies until the umbilical cord falls off. But we haven't made up our minds quite yet...

    1. I was anticipating a large baby and ended up with a peanut! One size diapers didn't fit her until she was two or three months old! I couldn't wait that long to get started so newborn diapers were a must! :-)

  10. I used newborn diapers with my first and second babies. With the third, I didn't use cloth at all because I was too overwhelmed with laundry as it was. If there's a fourth baby (I hope there will be!), I would like to try using cloth again.

  15. I like Newborn diapers because they fit much better on the tiny ones! My new grandson is due in August and my daughter plans to use only cloth diapers.

  19. I didn't use newborn diapers. I had a few size small diapers and some OS diapers that fit so we used those!

  20. I used them a lot with my skinny daughter! One-sized started to truly fit her at 10 months!

  29. No, I haven't used any yet.
    My micro preemie is still in the nicu and won't be home for another month or two...then I would be able to cloth diaper...I can't wait!

  45. I didn't use newborn diapers with my first. I used the smaller sized prefolds + Thirsties covers, but my daughter was nearly a month old before even those fit.

  48. I haven't used newborn diapers. I started cloth diapers when my baby was about 5 months. I had thought about it during pregnancy...buuuut got scared somewhere, but then took the plunge and am so glad!

  50. I would like to! Haven't had the chance to yet ;) I am thinking disposables until the cord falls off and then we can use newborn diapers. Since you never know how big they will be pretty much till they're born I think I want to wait and see!

  60. I didn't use newborn diapers with my daughter. When she was born I had never cloth diapered before and didn't know anyone who did, so I just assumed a "one size" stash would fit her from birth. Now that I know better, I plan on using newborn cloth on baby #2.
